Following extensive testing on the Meteor and listening to customer input, we discovered that the forward footrest position often led to discomfort on uneven roads or speed bumps. Riders found it challenging to support their weight on their legs, resulting in shock transferring through their backs.
To address this issue, we propose mid-mounted pegs, providing support at low speeds on such terrain and allowing riders to adjust their leg position during long rides.
These click-up folding pegs effortlessly attach directly to the exhaust center box mounting bolts (refer to the video for installation guidance). Though the mounting points are slightly offset, this is scarcely noticeable during bike operation.
Additionally, these pegs can replace the rear passenger pegs, ensuring a uniform appearance.
Opting for the black color option seamlessly blends the pegs with the bike’s frame when folded up, practically rendering them invisible.
Featuring a knurled design for enhanced grip, these pegs are available in clear anodized alloy (silver) or anodized black.
Each kit contains 2 folding foot pegs and 2 M8 bolts and washers in 50mm and 75mm lengths.
The foot peg measures approximately 4 inches (10cm) in length from the pivot center to the end and has a diameter of 22mm.
